What do searches for peptides in Slovenia turn up?

A search for peptides in Slovenia mixes two worlds. One is cosmetics: creams and serums with a fraction of a percent of peptide in a finished formula, priced per millilitre.

The other is research peptides: the pure compound in a sealed glass vial, priced per milligram, with an analysis from a laboratory. The two cannot be compared on content or on price, and this page is about the second.

A research peptide is a laboratory reagent: a lyophilised solid in a sealed vial, identified by its amino-acid sequence and its mass, and checked by HPLC and mass spectrometry.

In Slovenia these vials are ordered by university groups in Ljubljana and Maribor, by research institutes, and by biotech teams that work in English alongside Slovene.

It is sold labelled for research, priced per vial, and compared per milligram. That is the frame for everything below.

Most Slovenian searches are in Slovene, and the largest one is not the general word « peptidi » but a single compound: « retatrutid », with « retatrutide Slovenija » close behind.

That is why retatrutide has its own section here, with a report for each size.

The Slovene version of this guide, with the same catalogue and the same prices, is Peptidi Slovenija: raziskovalni peptidi, cena na mg in dostava iz EU.

The product page, the basket and the checkout of OXpeptides are in English, with prices in euros.

How long does delivery to Slovenia take, and why does the origin of the parcel matter?

OXpeptides delivers to Slovenia in 4 to 6 business days, because Slovenia sits inside the EU customs union and an OXpeptides parcel never crosses a customs border.

A parcel posted from another member state is not processed by FURS, the Slovenian tax and customs authority, no import VAT is due, and no carrier clearance fee is added. The price on the page is the price paid.

A parcel from outside the EU is an import, whatever its value.

The EU removed the old small-parcel exemption, so even a cheap vial from outside the Union owes Slovenian import VAT at the standard 22 % rate on the goods plus shipping.

Customs duty can apply on top, the carrier charges its own fee for clearing the parcel before delivery, and some parcels sit at the border for weeks:

OXpeptides parcels leave a warehouse in the European Union and are handed to the national post for the last mile:

Payment is in euros by card with 3-D Secure, with no account to create.

Slovenia uses the euro, so the bank statement shows the same figure as the basket, with no conversion. One e-mail confirms the order at once, a second carries the tracking link when the parcel leaves.

The full country list is on the shipping page.

How do you compare peptide prices per mg?

Peptide sellers in Slovenia, from web shops to social-media accounts, usually quote a price per vial.

That number hides the real cost, because a 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial are not the same purchase. Divide the price by the milligrams on the label, then compare vials of the same size.

Inside one catalogue, the size moves the price per mg more than the shop does. OXpeptides retatrutide costs €8.99/mg in the 10 mg vial, €7.50/mg in the 20 mg vial and €6.50/mg in the 30 mg vial.

A long research series is cheaper in large vials; a short one wastes less in small ones, since the powder stays stable until the vial is opened.

In the basket, the price per vial also drops on its own from 3 and from 5 vials of the same size.

One more correction to any per-mg figure: it assumes the vial holds what the label says.

A « 10 mg » vial that holds 7 mg is the most expensive vial in Slovenia per real milligram, whatever the sticker. Compare only shops that publish a lab report for the size they sell.

A wider view is in the comparison of research peptide suppliers in Europe.

What is retatrutide, and which lab reports cover it?

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide developed by Eli Lilly. In laboratory models it binds three receptors of the incretin and glucagon family at once.

It is in phase 3 studies and holds no marketing authorisation from the European Medicines Agency, so no retatrutide product appears on the Slovenian register of authorised medicinal products.

What circulates under « retatrutide Slovenija » is lyophilised powder sold as a research reagent.

For that powder, the useful document is a lab report tied to the size in the basket. OXpeptides reports come from Janoshik Analytical, one per size:

VialJanoshik taskPurity (HPLC)
Retatrutide 10 mg21719499.316%
Retatrutide 20 mg21701499.763%
Retatrutide 30 mg21701599.713%

Prices for Slovenia: €89.90 for 10 mg, €149.90 for 20 mg and €194.90 for 30 mg.

The vials are on the retatrutide 10, 20 and 30 mg page, every report sits in the report library, and the full guide with sizes and storage is buy retatrutide in Europe. OXpeptides publishes nothing about use in people.

Which other research peptides ship to Slovenia?

Beyond retatrutide, OXpeptides ships nine more peptide sizes to Slovenia in the same parcel.

GHK-Cu 100 mg is the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper ion, a blue lyophilised powder; it costs €59.90 (€0.60/mg), with Janoshik report 217016 for the lot on sale (99.603 % purity).

Its sister peptide is AHK-Cu 50 mg, where glycine is swapped for alanine, and GHK-Cu vs AHK-Cu compares the two.

BPC-157 10 mg costs €54.90 (€5.49/mg); it is a synthetic chain of 15 amino acids.

TB-500 10 mg is the synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4 that labs often study alongside it, and KLOW 80 mg combines several of these sequences in one vial.

MOTS-c 20 mg is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA, and Semax and Selank are short heptapeptides first described by Russian research institutes.

All of them ship with the same delivery time to Slovenia, so a mixed order costs one shipping fee, or none above the free threshold.

How should research peptides and bacteriostatic water be stored on arrival?

Lyophilised research peptides from OXpeptides arrive in sealed vials, and a sealed, dry vial is the most stable form a peptide can take.

Light, heat and above all moisture break it down. Sealed vials keep best in a freezer at −20 °C, in their box, away from light and moisture.

On arrival the seal should be intact and the powder dry, as a cake or a fine powder, with a legible label.

A vial that has thawed and refrozen several times, or where the powder has clumped and turned sticky, has taken up moisture. The guide lyophilized peptides storage covers shelf life.

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in a sealed glass vial as a laboratory diluent.

Check the words « bacteriostatic » and « 0.9 % benzyl alcohol », a sealed cap, a lot number and an expiry date. The OXpeptides one ships in the same parcel as the peptides: see bacteriostatic water.

What does JAZMP, the Slovenian medicines agency, say about research peptides?

In Slovenia, medicinal products fall under the Medicinal Products Act (Zakon o zdravilih).

The authority is JAZMP, the Agency for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices of the Republic of Slovenia (Javna agencija Republike Slovenije za zdravila in medicinske pripomočke), which handles marketing authorisations, inspections and market surveillance.

A product presented for people, with instructions or a promised outcome, is a medicinal product in its eyes and needs an authorisation before it can be sold.

Research peptides have no such authorisation. That is why they can only be offered as laboratory reagents: labelled « for research use only », described by their chemistry, with no instructions for people.

The line is drawn by how a product is presented, not by its name. A shop that posts instructions, testimonials or promised outcomes next to a vial is presenting it as a medicinal product, whatever the label says.

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list also names BPC-157 (class S0) and TB-500 (class S2) as prohibited, which matters for any lab that works with sports organisations.

This page is not legal advice; each institution's own rules apply to its lab.

How do you check a peptide seller from Slovenia?

A peptide seller shipping to Slovenia can be checked in six steps, none of which needs an order:

  1. Company details. An online shop serving Slovenia must show a company name, an address and a registration number. A social-media profile or a messenger handle is not one.
  2. A lab report per size. One PDF for the smallest vial, reused for the larger ones, says nothing about the vial being bought.
  3. A verifiable report. Janoshik reports carry a task number and a key; typed on janoshik.com, they must open the same document as the shop's.
  4. A measured quantity, not only a purity. « 99 % pure » on 7 mg of a « 10 mg » vial is still 7 mg.
  5. Dispatch from the EU. Prices in dollars or a warehouse address outside the Union usually mean customs and 22 % VAT at the door.
  6. Card payment and a written return policy. Bank transfers to a private account and crypto-only checkouts are warning signs.

The long version is how to check a peptide supplier, and every line of a report is explained in Janoshik test report.

For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
