What do you find when you search for peptides in Estonia?
A search for « peptides » in Estonia mixes two different worlds on one page. One is cosmetics: serums and creams with a fraction of a percent of peptide in a finished formula, sold per millilitre.
The other is research peptides: the pure compound in a sealed glass vial, as a lyophilised solid, sold per milligram with a lab report. The two cannot be compared, neither by content nor by price.
Most Estonians search in Estonian, with the word « peptiidid ».
The Estonian version of this guide, with the same catalogue and the same prices, is Peptiidid Eestis: uurimispeptiidid, hinnad eurodes ja tarne EL-i seest.
This page is in English because English is the working language of many research groups in Tartu and Tallinn, and of the international teams that order from Estonia.
A research peptide is a laboratory reagent: a short chain of amino acids, made by solid-phase synthesis, purified by HPLC and freeze-dried into a solid that stays stable in a sealed vial.
It is identified by its amino-acid sequence and its mass, sold labelled for research, priced per vial and compared per milligram. That is the frame for everything below.
The OXpeptides product pages, basket and checkout are in English, with prices in euros.

Do you pay customs or import VAT on peptides shipped to Estonia?
Estonia sits inside the EU customs union, so a peptide parcel posted from another member state crosses no customs border.
The Estonian Tax and Customs Board (Maksu- ja Tolliamet) never sees it and no import VAT is due. The price on the page is the price paid.
A parcel from outside the EU is an import, whatever its value.
The EU removed the old small-parcel exemption, so even a cheap vial from outside the Union owes Estonian import VAT at 24 % on the goods plus shipping.
Customs duty can apply on top, and the carrier charges its own fee for clearing the parcel before delivery:
| Parcel sent from | Customs check | Import VAT |
|---|---|---|
| Another EU country | no | none |
| United States | yes | 24 % |
| China | yes, often a long wait | 24 % |
OXpeptides parcels leave a warehouse in the European Union and reach addresses in Tallinn, Tartu, Narva and Pärnu on the same terms:
| Delivery time to Estonia | 4 to 6 business days, tracked |
|---|---|
| Shipping | €9.90, free from €120 |
| Customs and import VAT | none (intra-EU parcel) |
| Packaging | plain box, no product name outside |
| Returns | 30 days on sealed vials |
Payment is in euros by card with 3-D Secure, with no account to create. One e-mail confirms the order at once, a second carries the tracking link when the parcel leaves. The full country list is on the shipping page.
How do you compare peptide prices per mg?
Peptide prices in Estonia are only comparable per milligram.
Many sellers quote a price per vial, and that number hides the real cost, because a 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial are not the same purchase. Divide the price by the milligrams on the label, then compare vials of the same size.
Inside one catalogue, the size moves the price per mg more than the shop does.
OXpeptides retatrutide costs €8.99/mg in the 10 mg vial, €7.50/mg in the 20 mg vial and €6.50/mg in the 30 mg vial.
A long research series is cheaper in large vials; a short one wastes less in small ones, since the powder stays stable until the vial is opened.
In the basket, the price per vial also drops on its own from 3 and from 5 vials of the same size. Estonia uses the euro, so the bank converts nothing.
One more correction to any per-mg figure: it assumes the vial holds what the label says.
A « 10 mg » vial that holds 7 mg is the most expensive vial in Estonia per real milligram, whatever the sticker. Compare only shops that publish a lab report for the size they sell.
What does the Ravimiamet say about research peptides?
In Estonia, medicinal products fall under the Medicinal Products Act (Ravimiseadus), and the authority is the State Agency of Medicines, the Ravimiamet.
The Ravimiamet grants marketing authorisations, runs market surveillance and decides whether a product is a medicinal product.
A product offered for people, with an amount to take or a promised outcome, is a medicinal product in its eyes and needs an authorisation before it can be sold.
Research peptides have no such authorisation.
That is why they can only be offered as laboratory reagents: labelled « for research use only », described by their chemistry, with no instructions for people or animals.
The line is drawn by how a product is presented, not by its name. A shop that posts instructions, testimonials or promised outcomes next to a vial is presenting it as a medicinal product, whatever the label says.
The World Anti-Doping Agency list names BPC-157 (class S0) and TB-500 (class S2) as prohibited, which matters for any lab that works with sports federations.
This page is not legal advice; each institution's own rules apply to its lab.
What is retatrutide and which Janoshik reports exist for it?
Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide developed by Eli Lilly. In laboratory models, retatrutide binds three receptors of the incretin and glucagon family at once.
It is in phase 3 studies and has no marketing authorisation from the European Medicines Agency, so the Ravimiamet register lists no retatrutide product. What circulates in Estonia is lyophilised powder sold as a research reagent.
For that powder, the useful document is a lab report tied to the size in the basket. OXpeptides reports come from Janoshik Analytical, one per size:
| Vial | Janoshik task | Purity (HPLC) | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Retatrutide 10 mg | 217194 | 99.316% | €89.90 |
| Retatrutide 20 mg | 217014 | 99.763% | €149.90 |
| Retatrutide 30 mg | 217015 | 99.713% | €194.90 |
The vials are on the retatrutide 10, 20 and 30 mg page, and the full guide with sizes and storage is buy retatrutide in Europe. OXpeptides publishes nothing about use in people.
Which other peptides ship to Estonia?
After retatrutide, OXpeptides ships eight more research peptides to Estonia in the same parcel.
BPC-157 10 mg costs €54.90 (€5.49/mg); TB-500 10 mg is the fragment of thymosin beta-4 that labs often study alongside it, and KLOW 80 mg combines GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV in one vial.
MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA, and Semax and Selank are two heptapeptides, analogues of an ACTH fragment and of tuftsin.
All of them ship with the same delivery time to Estonia, so a mixed order costs one shipping fee or none above the free threshold. Every report OXpeptides has published sits in the lab report library.
Is GHK-Cu in Estonia a research powder or a cosmetic serum?
Search « GHK-Cu » from Estonia and most hits are cosmetics: creams and serums sold in beauty shops and online, with a fraction of a percent of copper peptide in a finished formula, listed as Copper Tripeptide-1 on the INCI label.
A GHK-Cu research vial holds the peptide itself, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper ion, as a blue lyophilised powder measured in milligrams.
The two are priced differently: a serum per millilitre of product, a vial per milligram of peptide.
OXpeptides GHK-Cu 100 mg costs €59.90 (€0.60/mg), with Janoshik report 217016 for the lot on sale (99.603 % purity). Its sister peptide is on the AHK-Cu page, and GHK-Cu vs AHK-Cu compares them.
How should bacteriostatic water and sealed vials be stored?
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in a sealed glass vial as a laboratory diluent.
Check the words « bacteriostatic » and « 0.9 % benzyl alcohol », a sealed cap, a lot number and an expiry date. The OXpeptides one ships in the same parcel as the peptides: see bacteriostatic water.
On arrival in Estonia the seal should be intact and the powder dry, as a cake or a fine powder.
Sealed vials keep best in a freezer at −20 °C, in their box, away from light and moisture. A vial that has thawed and refrozen several times, or whose powder has turned into a sticky lump, has taken up moisture.
The guide lyophilized peptides storage covers shelf life.
How do you check a peptide seller from Estonia?
A peptide seller can be checked from Estonia in six steps, none of which needs an order:
- Company details. A company name, an address and a registry code. A Facebook profile or a messenger handle is not a company.
- A lab report per size. One PDF for the smallest vial, reused for the larger ones, says nothing about the vial in the basket.
- A verifiable report. Janoshik reports carry a task number and a key; typed on janoshik.com, they must open the same document as the shop's.
- A measured quantity, not only a purity. « 99 % pure » on 7 mg of a « 10 mg » vial is still 7 mg.
- Dispatch from the EU. Prices in dollars usually mean customs and 24 % VAT at the door.
- Card payment and a written return policy. Bank transfers to a private account and crypto-only checkouts are warning signs.
The long version is how to check a peptide supplier, every line of a report is explained in Janoshik test report, and the comparison of research peptide suppliers in Europe lines the sellers up side by side.
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
