What a search for « peptides Netherlands » returns
Type « peptides Netherlands » into Google and the first page mixes four things.
Small Dutch-language shops sell vials of retatrutide or BPC-157 from short product pages, often with a stock photo and one generic certificate for the whole range.
A Reddit thread on a chemistry forum debates whether any of them can be trusted. A skincare brand ranks for its « peptide » serums.
Lower down, contract manufacturers in the country make peptides for pharmaceutical companies and do not sell a single vial to an individual lab.
None of those pages answers what a researcher in Utrecht, Leiden or Groningen wants to know: who ships a sealed, tested vial to a Dutch address, in euros, with a report for the exact size ordered.
This page answers that, with our own catalogue as the worked example and five checks that apply to any other shop.
In Dutch, the same search is « peptiden kopen ». This page is in English because most Dutch research groups write, read and order in English. Readers who prefer Dutch will find the retatrutide price guide on oxpeptides.nl.
Delivery to the Netherlands: EU parcel versus import
The country a parcel leaves from decides what you pay at the door.
Every parcel that enters the EU from outside owes VAT from the first euro, since the old small-parcel exemption was abolished.
For the Netherlands that is 21 % on the value plus shipping, collected by Dutch customs or by the carrier, who adds a handling fee of its own. Above €150, customs duty can come on top.
That applies to a vial posted from the United Kingdom after Brexit, from the United States, from China and from Switzerland alike.
Parcels from outside the EU also wait in a customs depot, and a parcel that holds a product presented for people can be held and passed to the health inspectorate.
A parcel posted inside the EU crosses no customs border. Ours leave a warehouse in the European Union, in a plain sealed box with a tracking number, and are handed to the national post for the last mile:
| Delivery time to the Netherlands | 4 to 6 business days, tracked |
|---|---|
| Shipping | €9.90, free from €120 |
| Customs and 21 % import VAT | none (intra-EU parcel) |
| Packaging | plain box, no product name outside |
| Returns | 30 days on sealed vials |
You pay in euros by card with 3-D Secure, without opening an account. One e-mail confirms the order at once; a second carries the tracking link when the parcel leaves. The full list of countries is on the shipping page.
Retatrutide in the Netherlands: status and lab reports
« Retatrutide Netherlands » is the second most searched peptide query in the country. Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide developed by Eli Lilly.
In laboratory models it acts on three receptors at once: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon. It is in phase 3 studies and holds no EU marketing authorisation, so the Dutch medicines register lists no retatrutide product.
What circulates in the Netherlands is lyophilised powder sold as a research reagent.
For that powder, the one document that counts is a lab report tied to the size you buy. Ours come from Janoshik Analytical:
| Vial | Janoshik task | Purity (HPLC) |
|---|---|---|
| Retatrutide 10 mg | 217194 | 99.316% |
| Retatrutide 20 mg | 217014 | 99.763% |
| Retatrutide 30 mg | 217015 | 99.713% |
The three sizes cost €89.90, €149.90 and €194.90. A milligram is cheaper in the large vial (€6.50/mg) than in the small one (€8.99/mg).
The full purchase guide is buy retatrutide in Europe, and the vials are on the retatrutide 10, 20 and 30 mg page. We publish nothing about use in people; a shop that does is selling an unauthorised medicinal product.
BPC-157 and TB-500 in the Netherlands
« BPC 157 Netherlands » has its own small search volume, and the answer differs from retatrutide in one way: BPC-157 has never been through a phase 3 programme anywhere.
It is a 15-amino-acid fragment of a protein found in gastric juice, studied in cell and animal models. TB-500 is a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4.
Neither is an authorised medicine in the Netherlands or in any EU country, so both can only be sold as laboratory reagents.
Both ship to Dutch addresses as sealed 10 mg vials: BPC-157 10 mg at €54.90 (€5.49/mg) and TB-500 10 mg at €76.90 (€7.69/mg).
Labs that study them together will find the background in BPC-157 and TB-500 and the buying details in buy BPC-157.
Researchers who also compete should know that the World Anti-Doping Agency lists BPC-157 (class S0) and TB-500 (class S2) as prohibited at all times.
Copper peptides: a skincare serum or a research vial?
Dutch shoppers who search « peptides » often land on a skincare brand.
Those serums contain a fraction of a percent of a peptide in a cosmetic base, priced per millilitre of finished product. A research vial holds the peptide itself, as a lyophilised powder, priced per milligram.
GHK-Cu is the clearest case: glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper ion, a blue powder in the vial.
Our GHK-Cu 100 mg costs €59.90 (€0.60/mg), with Janoshik report 217016 for the lot on sale (99.603 % purity). Its relative is on the AHK-Cu page, and GHK-Cu vs AHK-Cu compares the two.

Price per mg: how to compare Dutch peptide shops
Shops in the Netherlands sell the same molecule in 5, 10, 20 and 30 mg vials, sometimes in bundles of two.
The sticker price cannot be compared across sizes. Divide the price by the milligrams on the label, and compare vials of the same size only.
Then ask what the milligrams are worth. A « 10 mg » vial that holds 7 mg costs 43 % more per real milligram than its label suggests.
A per-mg comparison only means something between shops that publish a report with the measured content of the size on sale. Bundles and free extras change the total, not the price of the peptide.
| What to compare | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Price per mg, same vial size | Removes the size effect |
| A report for that exact size | A 10 mg report says nothing about a 30 mg vial |
| Country of dispatch | Outside the EU adds 21 % VAT and a fee |
| Return window | Ours: 30 days on sealed vials |
In our basket, the price per vial also drops on its own from 3 and from 5 vials of the same size, with no code to type.
How to check a peptide seller in the Netherlands
Five checks, none of which requires an order:
- A named lab report per size. One PDF for the smallest vial, reused for the larger ones, proves nothing about the vial you receive.
- A report you can verify. A Janoshik report carries a task number and a key; typed on janoshik.com, they must open the same document the shop shows.
- A measured quantity, not only a purity. « 99 % pure » on 7 mg of a « 10 mg » vial is still 7 mg.
- Dispatch from the EU. Prices in pounds or dollars usually mean VAT and a carrier fee at your door.
- A named company with a written return policy and card payment. Crypto-only checkout or a transfer to a private account is a warning sign.
Instructions for people, testimonials or promised outcomes on a product page mean the shop is selling a medicinal product without authorisation, which is what the Dutch inspectorate acts on.
The long version of these checks is how to check a peptide supplier; every line of a report is explained in Janoshik test report.
Storage after delivery
Sealed lyophilised vials keep best in a freezer at −20 °C, in their box, away from light and moisture.
On arrival the seal should be intact and the powder dry, as a cake or a fine powder.
A short series wastes less material in small vials; a long one is cheaper per mg in large ones, because the powder stays stable until the vial is opened.
Lyophilized peptides storage covers shelf life in detail, and bacteriostatic water (0.9 % benzyl alcohol) ships in the same parcel at no extra shipping cost.
What Dutch rules say about research peptides
Two bodies matter in the Netherlands.
The CBG-MEB (Medicines Evaluation Board) decides which medicines may be placed on the Dutch market and grants their authorisations.
The IGJ (Health and Youth Care Inspectorate) enforces the medicines rules, including the online sale of unauthorised medicines.
Under the Dutch Medicines Act (Geneesmiddelenwet), a product presented as something to give to people, with an amount to take or a promised effect, is a medicine and needs an authorisation.
Research peptides have no such authorisation, which is why they can only be offered as laboratory reagents: labelled « for research use only », described by their chemistry, with no instructions for people or animals.
The line is drawn by how a product is presented, not by its name.
Sold and labelled as a research reagent, from an EU seller, is a different case from a medicine offered to the public. This page is not legal advice; each institution's own rules apply to its lab.
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
