Research peptides are laboratory reagents that Danish labs order online. A parcel from another EU country crosses no customs border and owes no 25 % import VAT. OXpeptides delivers to Denmark in 4 to 6 business days, prices in euros, with a Janoshik report for each retatrutide size.

What Danish searches for peptides turn up

Search « peptides Denmark » and Google offers business directories that list chemical companies, one or two online shops with short product pages, and a forum thread with the question most Danish buyers actually have: « I order peptides in France, will the parcel be stopped at the border? » Nobody in the thread gives a clear answer.

This page gives it, with figures.

It is in English because the labs that order into Denmark mostly work in English: university groups in Copenhagen, Aarhus and Odense, and teams in the Danish biotech sector, one of the world's centres of incretin research.

Danes who prefer their own language search « købe peptider » or « købe retatrutide »; the Danish guides are Peptider i Danmark and Køb retatrutide i Danmark.

A research peptide is a laboratory reagent: a lyophilised solid in a sealed glass vial, identified by its amino-acid sequence and its mass, and checked by HPLC and mass spectrometry.

It is sold labelled for research, priced per vial, and compared per milligram.

Will a peptide parcel be stopped by Danish customs?

Denmark is part of the EU customs union.

A parcel posted in another member state, France, Germany or the Netherlands, is not an import: it is not declared to Toldstyrelsen, the Danish Customs Agency, and no import VAT is added.

It travels like any other parcel inside the EU.

A parcel from outside the EU is different. Toldstyrelsen treats it as an import whatever its value, since the EU removed the small-parcel VAT exemption.

Danish import VAT is 25 % on the goods plus shipping, duty can apply on top, and the carrier adds a fee for handling the clearance before it delivers. The parcel can also wait in a depot while it is checked.

What decides how any parcel is treated, inside or outside the EU, is what it is presented as.

A sealed vial labelled as a research reagent, with no instructions for people, is a laboratory product. A box sold with an amount to take and a promised result is presented as a medicine, and that is what the authorities look for.

So, back to the forum question.

A labelled research vial ordered from a shop in France, or anywhere else in the EU, reaches a Danish address like any other parcel: no customs form, no VAT notice, no fee to pay before delivery.

The same vial ordered from a British or American shop is a different purchase. It costs a quarter more in VAT on arrival, plus a clearance fee, and it spends extra days in a depot.

Before you compare two prices, check the country the parcel leaves from, not only the currency on the page.

Delivery to Denmark: time, cost and payment

Our parcels leave a warehouse in the European Union and are handed to the national post for the last mile, with tracking from end to end:

Delivery time to Denmark4 to 6 business days, tracked
Shipping€9.90, free from €120
Customs and import VATnone (intra-EU parcel)
Packagingplain box, no product name outside
Returns30 days on sealed vials

Prices are in euros. Denmark keeps the krone, so your card issuer converts the amount into kroner on your statement at its own rate.

Payment is by card with 3-D Secure, with no account to create. One e-mail confirms the order at once, a second carries the tracking link when the parcel leaves. The full country list is on the shipping page.

Price per mg: how to compare shops

A vial price alone says little. Divide the price by the milligrams on the label and compare vials of the same size.

Inside one catalogue, size moves the price per mg more than the shop does: our retatrutide costs €8.99/mg in the 10 mg vial, €7.50/mg in the 20 mg vial and €6.50/mg in the 30 mg vial.

In the basket, the price per vial drops on its own from 3 and from 5 vials of the same size.

The per-mg figure also assumes the vial holds what the label says.

A « 10 mg » vial that holds 7 mg is the most expensive vial in Denmark per real milligram, whatever the price tag. Compare only shops that publish a lab report for the size they sell.

What Danish rules say about research peptides

In Denmark, the Danish Medicines Agency, Lægemiddelstyrelsen, decides what is a medicinal product under the Danish Medicines Act, lægemiddelloven.

The test is presentation: a product offered for use in people, with an amount to take, a promised effect or instructions, is a medicinal product, and selling it needs an authorisation.

Research peptides have no such authorisation, which is why they are offered only as laboratory reagents: labelled « for research use only », described by their chemistry, with no instructions for people or animals.

Toldstyrelsen and Lægemiddelstyrelsen stop parcels judged to be unauthorised medicines every year, most of them from outside the EU.

Anti Doping Danmark applies the World Anti-Doping Agency list, which names BPC-157 (class S0) and TB-500 (class S2) as prohibited.

That matters for any lab that works with athletes. This page is not legal advice; each institution's own rules apply to its lab.

Retatrutide in Denmark: identity, status and lab reports

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide developed by Eli Lilly. In laboratory models it binds three receptors at once: GLP-1, GIP and glucagon.

It is in phase 3 studies and has no marketing authorisation from the European Medicines Agency or Lægemiddelstyrelsen, so it is not in medicin.dk and no Danish pharmacy sells it.

What circulates in Denmark is lyophilised powder sold as a research reagent.

For that powder, the useful document is a lab report tied to the size you buy. Ours come from Janoshik Analytical, one per size:

VialJanoshik taskPurity (HPLC)
Retatrutide 10 mg21719499.316%
Retatrutide 20 mg21701499.763%
Retatrutide 30 mg21701599.713%

The vials are on the retatrutide 10, 20 and 30 mg page; the full guide is buy retatrutide in Europe. We publish nothing about use in people.

BPC-157 in Denmark, and the rest of the catalogue

« BPC 157 Denmark » is the other search Danish labs type. BPC-157 10 mg costs €54.90 (€5.49/mg).

TB-500 10 mg, the fragment of thymosin beta-4, is often ordered with it, and KLOW 80 mg combines several sequences in one vial. MOTS-c is a mitochondrial peptide; Semax and Selank are short neuropeptides.

Our GHK-Cu 100 mg costs €59.90 (€0.60/mg), with Janoshik report 217016 for the lot on sale (99.603 % purity).

Do not confuse it with the copper-peptide serums sold in Danish beauty shops: those hold a fraction of a percent in a finished formula, priced per millilitre. GHK-Cu vs AHK-Cu compares it with AHK-Cu.

Everything ships in one parcel with the same delivery time, so a mixed order pays one shipping fee, or none above the free threshold.

Bacteriostatic water and storage on arrival

Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a preservative, in a sealed glass vial, used as a laboratory diluent.

Check for « 0.9 % benzyl alcohol », a sealed cap, a lot number and an expiry date. Ours travels in the same parcel: see bacteriostatic water.

On arrival the seal should be intact and the powder dry. Sealed vials keep best in a freezer at −20 °C, in their box, away from light. Details in lyophilized peptides storage.

How to check a peptide seller from Denmark

Six checks before any order:

  1. A registered company. A Danish shop shows a CVR number; a foreign one should show its own registry number and an address.
  2. A lab report per size. One PDF for the smallest vial, reused for the larger ones, says nothing about the vial you buy.
  3. A verifiable report. Janoshik reports carry a task number and a key that open the same document on janoshik.com.
  4. A measured quantity, not only a purity. « 99 % pure » on 7 mg of a « 10 mg » vial is still 7 mg.
  5. Dispatch from the EU. Prices in pounds or dollars usually mean 25 % VAT and a clearance fee at the door.
  6. Card payment and a written return policy. MobilePay requests to a private number, bank transfers to a person and crypto-only checkouts are warning signs.

The long version is how to check a peptide supplier, and each line of a report is explained in Janoshik test report.
