What do you find when you search for peptides in Slovakia?

A search for peptides in Slovakia brings up two different worlds. One is cosmetics: serums and creams with a fraction of a percent of peptide, sold per millilitre in beauty shops.

The other is research peptides: the pure compound in a sealed glass vial, measured in milligrams and checked by a laboratory.

Searches for retatrutide add news pieces, forum threads and offers in group chats, where prices are posted in comments and payment goes to a private account. Few of them show a lab report for the exact vial size that would arrive.

Most Slovaks search in Slovak: « peptidy », « retatrutid ».

This page is in English because many of the labs that order from Slovakia work in English: university groups in Bratislava and Košice, research teams in Žilina and Banská Bystrica, and visiting researchers.

The Slovak version of this guide, with the same catalogue, is Peptidy a retatrutid na Slovensku. The product pages, the basket and the checkout are in English, with prices in euros.

A research peptide is a laboratory reagent: a lyophilised solid in a sealed glass vial, identified by its amino-acid sequence and its mass, and checked by HPLC and mass spectrometry.

It is sold labelled for research, priced per vial, and compared per milligram. That is the frame for everything below. Other suppliers are compared side by side in the best research peptide suppliers in Europe.

How long does delivery to Slovakia take, and why does the origin of the parcel decide the bill?

Delivery to Slovakia from OXpeptides takes 4 to 6 business days, because Slovakia sits inside the EU customs union.

A parcel posted from another member state crosses no customs border, so Slovak customs (part of the Finančná správa) never sees it and no import VAT is due. The price on the page is the price paid.

A parcel from outside the EU is an import, whatever its value.

The EU removed the old small-parcel exemption, so even a cheap vial from outside the Union owes Slovak import VAT at 23 % on the goods plus shipping.

Customs duty can apply on top, and the carrier charges its own fee for clearing the parcel before delivery:

A price shown in dollars is the usual sign of a parcel that will stop at the border. OXpeptides parcels leave a warehouse in the European Union and are handed to the national post for the last mile:

Delivery time to Slovakia4 to 6 business days, tracked
Shipping€9.90, free from €120
Customs and import VATnone (intra-EU parcel)
Packagingplain box, no product name outside
Returns30 days on sealed vials

Payment is in euros by card with 3-D Secure, with no account to create. Slovakia uses the euro, so there is no currency conversion on the bank statement.

One e-mail confirms the order at once, a second carries the tracking link when the parcel leaves. Parcels reach Bratislava, Košice, Prešov, Žilina, Banská Bystrica and every other Slovak town the national post serves.

The full country list is on the shipping page.

How do you compare peptide prices in Slovakia?

Peptide prices in Slovakia are compared fairly only per milligram. Slovak shops and group-chat sellers usually quote a price per vial, « za kus ».

That number hides the real cost, because a 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial are not the same purchase. Divide the price by the milligrams on the label, then compare vials of the same size.

Inside one catalogue, the size moves the price per mg more than the shop does. OXpeptides retatrutide costs €8.99/mg in the 10 mg vial, €7.50/mg in the 20 mg vial and €6.50/mg in the 30 mg vial.

A long research series is cheaper in large vials; a short one wastes less in small ones, since the powder stays stable until the vial is opened.

In the basket, the price per vial also drops on its own from 3 and from 5 vials of the same size.

Any per-mg figure assumes the vial holds what the label says. That is why the comparison only makes sense between shops that publish a verifiable lab report, with a task number, for the size they sell.

Who regulates research peptides in Slovakia?

In Slovakia, the ŠÚKL (Štátny ústav pre kontrolu liečiv), the national authority for medicinal products, decides what counts as a medicinal product under the Act on Medicinal Products and Medical Devices.

The ŠÚKL handles authorisations, inspections and market surveillance. A product presented for people, with instructions or a promised outcome, is a medicinal product in its eyes and needs an authorisation before it can be sold.

Research peptides have no such authorisation.

That is why they can only be offered as laboratory reagents: labelled « for research use only », described by their chemistry, with no instructions for people or animals.

The line is drawn by how a product is presented, not by its name. A shop that posts instructions, testimonials or promised outcomes next to a vial is presenting it as a medicinal product, whatever the label says.

Slovakia also has its own anti-doping agency, the Slovak Anti-Doping Agency (SADA), which applies the World Anti-Doping Agency list.

That list names BPC-157 (class S0) and TB-500 (class S2) as prohibited. This page is not legal advice; each institution's own rules apply to its lab.

What is retatrutide, and which lab reports exist for it?

Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide developed by Eli Lilly. It binds three receptors of the incretin and glucagon family in laboratory models.

It is in phase 3 studies and has no marketing authorisation from the European Medicines Agency, and the ŠÚKL register lists no retatrutide product. What circulates in Slovakia is lyophilised powder sold as a research reagent.

For that powder, the useful document is a lab report tied to the size in the basket. The OXpeptides reports come from Janoshik Analytical in Prague, just across the border from Slovakia, one per size:

VialJanoshik taskPurity (HPLC)
Retatrutide 10 mg21719499.316%
Retatrutide 20 mg21701499.763%
Retatrutide 30 mg21701599.713%

The vials are on the retatrutide 10, 20 and 30 mg page, every published report is in the COA library, and the full guide with sizes and storage is buy retatrutide in Europe. OXpeptides publishes nothing about use in people.

BPC-157, TB-500 and the rest of the catalogue

After retatrutide, these are the OXpeptides vials Slovak labs add to the same order.

BPC-157 10 mg costs €54.90 (€5.49/mg); TB-500 10 mg is the fragment of thymosin beta-4 that labs often study alongside it, and KLOW 80 mg combines GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV in one vial.

MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA, and Semax and Selank are short heptapeptides first described by Russian research institutes.

All of them ship in the same parcel, with the same delivery time to Slovakia, so a mixed order costs one shipping fee or none above the free threshold.

Is GHK-Cu in Slovakia a research powder or a cosmetic serum?

GHK-Cu in Slovakia is sold in two forms that have little in common.

Most of what turns up is cosmetics: creams and serums sold in beauty shops, where the INCI list names the copper peptide Copper Tripeptide-1, usually below one percent of a finished formula.

A research vial holds the peptide itself, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper ion, as a blue lyophilised powder measured in milligrams.

The two are priced differently: a serum per millilitre of product, a vial per milligram of peptide.

OXpeptides GHK-Cu 100 mg costs €59.90 (€0.60/mg), with Janoshik report 217016 for the lot on sale (99.603 % purity). Its sister peptide is on the AHK-Cu page, and GHK-Cu vs AHK-Cu compares them.

main peakimpurityimpurityretention time →signal
What a chromatogram shows. The percentage on the certificate is the shaded area divided by the area of every peak on the trace. Some laboratories print the trace as an option; the report still has to name the compound, give the quantity in mg and the purity.

How should bacteriostatic water and sealed vials be stored on arrival?

Bacteriostatic water from OXpeptides is sterile water with 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in a sealed glass vial as a laboratory diluent.

Check the words « bacteriostatic » and « 0.9 % benzyl alcohol », a sealed cap, a lot number and an expiry date. It ships in the same parcel as the peptides: see bacteriostatic water.

On arrival the seal should be intact and the powder dry, as a cake or a fine powder. Sealed vials keep best in a freezer at −20 °C, in their box, away from light and moisture.

A vial that has thawed and frozen several times, or powder that has clumped and turned sticky, has taken up moisture. The guide lyophilized peptides storage covers shelf life.

How do you check a peptide seller from Slovakia?

A peptide seller serving Slovakia can be checked in six steps, none of which needs an order:

  1. A company identity. Online shops selling to Slovakia must show a company name, a registered office and an IČO (company ID). A social-media profile or a messenger handle is not one.
  2. A lab report per size. One PDF for the smallest vial, reused for the larger ones, says nothing about the vial on sale.
  3. A verifiable report. Janoshik reports carry a task number and a key; typed on janoshik.com, they must open the same document as the shop's.
  4. A purity figure from HPLC, with the lab named. « Premium quality » with no number and no laboratory is advertising.
  5. Dispatch from the EU. Prices in dollars usually mean customs and 23 % VAT at the door.
  6. Card payment and a written return policy. Bank transfers to a private account and crypto-only checkouts are warning signs.

The long version is how to check a peptide supplier, and every line of a report is explained in Janoshik test report.
