What comes up when searching for peptides in Bulgaria?
A search for peptides in Bulgaria mixes two different worlds. One is cosmetics: serums and creams with a fraction of a percent of peptide in a finished formula, priced per millilitre.
The other is research peptides: a pure substance in a sealed glass vial, a lyophilised solid measured in milligrams and backed by a lab analysis. The two are not comparable, neither by content nor by price.
Most Bulgarians search in Bulgarian, for « пептиди » or « ретатрутид ». The Bulgarian version of this guide, with the same catalogue and the same prices, is Пептиди и ретатрутид в България.
This page is in English because many of the labs that order from Bulgaria work in English: university groups in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna, biotech teams in Sofia, port-city labs in Burgas and Ruse, and visiting researchers.
A research peptide is a laboratory reagent: a lyophilised solid in a sealed glass vial, identified by its amino-acid sequence and its mass, and checked by HPLC and mass spectrometry.
It is sold labelled for research, priced per vial, and compared per milligram. That is the frame for everything below.

How long does delivery to Bulgaria take, and is there customs?
OXpeptides delivers to Bulgaria in 4 to 6 business days with no customs and no import VAT, because Bulgaria sits inside the EU customs union.
A parcel posted from another member state crosses no customs border, so the Bulgarian Customs Agency (Agentsia Mitnitsi) never sees it. The price on the page is the price paid.
A parcel from outside the EU is an import, whatever its value.
The EU removed the old small-parcel exemption, so even a cheap vial from outside the Union owes Bulgarian import VAT at 20 % on the goods plus shipping.
Customs duty can apply on top, and the carrier charges its own fee for clearing the parcel before delivery:
| Parcel sent from | Customs check | Import VAT |
|---|---|---|
| Another EU country | no | none |
| United States | yes | 20 % |
| China | yes, often a long wait | 20 % |
OXpeptides parcels leave a warehouse in the European Union and are handed to the national post for the last mile:
| Delivery time to Bulgaria | 4 to 6 business days, tracked |
|---|---|
| Shipping | €9.90, free from €120 |
| Customs and import VAT | none (intra-EU parcel) |
| Packaging | plain box, no product name outside |
| Returns | 30 days on sealed vials |
| Payment | card in euros, 3-D Secure, no account |
Prices are in euros, the currency of Bulgaria, so the bank converts nothing and the amount on the statement matches the basket.
Payment is by card with 3-D Secure, with no account to create. One e-mail confirms the order at once, a second carries the tracking link when the parcel leaves. The full country list is on the shipping page.
How do you compare peptide prices per mg?
Peptide prices compare fairly only per milligram: divide the price of the vial by the milligrams on the label, then compare vials of the same size.
Bulgarian shops and social-media sellers usually quote a price per piece, and that number hides the real cost, because a 5 mg vial and a 10 mg vial are not the same purchase.
Inside one catalogue, the size moves the price per mg more than the shop does. OXpeptides retatrutide costs €8.99/mg in the 10 mg vial, €7.50/mg in the 20 mg vial and €6.50/mg in the 30 mg vial.
A long research series is cheaper in large vials; a short one wastes less in small ones, since the powder stays stable until the vial is opened.
In the basket, the price per vial also drops on its own from 3 and from 5 vials of the same size.
One more correction to any per-mg figure: it assumes the vial holds what the label says.
A « 10 mg » vial that holds 7 mg is the most expensive vial in Bulgaria per real milligram, whatever the sticker.
Compare only shops that publish a lab report for the size they sell; the comparison of research peptide suppliers in Europe does exactly that.

What do Bulgarian rules say about research peptides?
In Bulgaria, medicinal products are regulated by the national medicines agency, the IAL (Izpalnitelna agentsia po lekarstvata, the Executive Agency for Medicinal Products), which handles authorisations, inspections and market surveillance.
A product presented as meant for people, with instructions or promises, is a medicinal product in the agency's eyes and needs an authorisation before it can be sold.
Research peptides have no such authorisation.
That is why they can only be offered as laboratory reagents: labelled « for research use only », described by their chemistry, with no instructions for people or animals.
The line is drawn by how a product is presented, not by its name. A shop that posts schedules, testimonials or promised outcomes next to a vial is presenting it as a medicinal product, whatever the label says.
The World Anti-Doping Agency list, which Bulgaria applies, names BPC-157 (class S0) and TB-500 (class S2) as prohibited substances. This page is not legal advice; each institution's own rules apply to its lab.
What is retatrutide, and does it have Janoshik reports?
Retatrutide (LY3437943) is an investigational peptide developed by Eli Lilly that binds three receptors of the incretin and glucagon family in laboratory models.
It is in phase 3 studies and has no marketing authorisation from the European Medicines Agency, so the IAL register lists no retatrutide product. What circulates in Bulgaria is lyophilised powder sold as a research reagent.
For that powder, the useful document is a lab report tied to the size in the basket. OXpeptides reports come from Janoshik Analytical, one per size:
| Vial | Janoshik task | Purity (HPLC) |
|---|---|---|
| Retatrutide 10 mg | 217194 | 99.316% |
| Retatrutide 20 mg | 217014 | 99.763% |
| Retatrutide 30 mg | 217015 | 99.713% |
The vials are on the retatrutide 10, 20 and 30 mg page, and the full guide with sizes and storage is buy retatrutide in Europe. OXpeptides publishes nothing about use in people.
Which other peptides does OXpeptides ship to Bulgaria?
Besides retatrutide, OXpeptides ships GHK-Cu, AHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500, KLOW, MOTS-c, Semax and Selank to Bulgaria, all priced in euros and packed in the same parcel.
BPC-157 10 mg costs €54.90 (€5.49/mg); it is a synthetic chain of 15 amino acids.
TB-500 10 mg is the fragment of thymosin beta-4 that labs often study alongside it, and KLOW 80 mg combines four sequences in one vial: GHK-Cu, BPC-157, TB-500 and KPV.
MOTS-c is a 16-amino-acid peptide encoded in mitochondrial DNA, and Semax and Selank are short heptapeptides first described by Russian research institutes.
All of them ship in the same parcel, with the same delivery time to Bulgaria, so a mixed order costs one shipping fee or none above the free threshold.
Is GHK-Cu in Bulgaria a research powder or a cosmetic?
GHK-Cu sold as a research vial in Bulgaria is a powder, not a cosmetic: search « GHK-Cu » in Bulgarian and most listings are creams and serums with a fraction of a percent of copper peptide in a finished formula.
A research vial holds the peptide itself, glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine bound to a copper ion, as a blue lyophilised powder measured in milligrams.
The two are priced differently: a serum per millilitre of product, a vial per milligram of peptide.
OXpeptides GHK-Cu 100 mg costs €59.90 (€0.60/mg), with Janoshik report 217016 for the lot on sale (99.603 % purity). Its sister peptide is on the AHK-Cu page, and GHK-Cu vs AHK-Cu compares them.
How should peptide vials and bacteriostatic water be stored?
Sealed research peptide vials keep best in a freezer at −20 °C, in their box, away from light and moisture.
On arrival the seal should be intact and the powder dry, as a cake or a fine powder. The guide lyophilized peptides storage covers shelf life.
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water with 0.9 % benzyl alcohol as a preservative, supplied in a sealed glass vial as a laboratory diluent.
Check the words « bacteriostatic » and « 0.9 % benzyl alcohol », a sealed cap, a lot number and an expiry date. The OXpeptides one ships in the same parcel as the peptides: see bacteriostatic water.
How do you check a peptide seller from Bulgaria?
A peptide seller shipping to Bulgaria can be checked with six tests, none of which needs an order:
- An identified company. Online shops serving Bulgaria must show a company name, an address and a registration number. A social-media profile or a messenger handle is not one.
- A lab report per size. One PDF for the smallest vial, reused for the larger ones, says nothing about the vial in the basket.
- A verifiable report. Janoshik reports carry a task number and a key; typed on janoshik.com, they must open the same document as the shop's.
- A measured quantity, not only a purity. « 99 % pure » on 7 mg of a « 10 mg » vial is still 7 mg.
- Dispatch from the EU. Prices in dollars usually mean customs and 20 % VAT at the door.
- Card payment and a written return policy. Bank transfers to a private account and crypto-only checkouts are warning signs.
The long version is how to check a peptide supplier, every line of a report is explained in Janoshik test report, and all OXpeptides reports are in the COA library.
For laboratory research only. Not for human or veterinary use.
